February 10, 2022: Sometimes if a card's aesthetics fail to resonate with me, I might ignore most of it and zoom in on one or more particular details that catch my eye or seem strongly relevant to the querent or question.

 

In the World Spirit Tarot's Ace of Pentacles, I am fascinated by the alignment of Sun and Moon in its backdrop. (You might enjoy this blog post from La Fuente Imports.) With the influence of both of these very different cosmic bodies, a tangible bit of earthly matter (the pentacle) has been formed, and so begins something new in the world of 3D, time-based existence.

 

As a Card of the Day, it can also remind you to give time time and take one practical step after another. Don't rush. Don't get ahead of yourself. But do at least one action to prepare the way for all the important steps that will follow.

 

When you feel overwhelmed, break things down into small components, order them, and give due attention to each in turn. Respect--even enjoy--the process.
