February 26-27, 2022: Artist Ambi Sun's image for the Four of Wands suggests a bowerbird's delicate, freshly-constructed bower. For a male bowerbird, building a brightly-decorated bower is extremely important strategy to attract a mate. Our fellow here looks satisfied with his creation and poised to be selected by one of the species' notoriously picky females.
In Sun's understanding, our weekend card speaks of celebrations of commitment and fidelity through time. I would add that support and stability are key ideas here, too, especially when indicated by the strength of relationships--friendly, romantic, familial, collaborative, and so forth.
Lean in to these reliable and fruitful connections. Contribute to those where you can. We all need one another, and things go better when we go together.
