The Witch (The Magician)
Daughters of the Moon Tarot
by Ffiona Morgan
February 8, 2022: Ffiona Morgan's feminist image, for Daughters of the Moon Tarot, re-envisions The Magician as The Witch.
Like Tarot's traditional Magician, our beautiful Witch is surrounded by all the magick-al elements as they exist on Earth--air, water, fire, and forest-earth. She lifts a clear crystal wand to the air and the night sky and dips another wand into her cauldron of water, channeling the energies of Spirit through her own empathic body.
You'll find beloved witchy familiars tucked away in the image--an owl and a cat--while the crescent moon keeps watch from above and a blue/white flame of Spirit has been activated by the Witch's artful deeds.
This archetype represents utmost focus, confidence, resourcefulness, and capability. So, as a card for your day, consider The Witch to be a voice whispering in your ear "You can" at those moments when you least believe you can, "You've got this" when you're telling yourself "I don't have anything." She represents will, in a positive sense, and synergy.
Challenge your current belief system if it does not serve you and the best for you.
What skills and tools do you have that you might have forgotten about or disowned? Reclaim them.
Pull all your resources together. Sharpen your focus.
Engage Spirit in your actions--always and in all ways.
