Ace of Diamonds
February 24, 2022: I'm loving the imaginative freedom that these playing cards offer. Today, let's look at the Ace of Diamonds.
As in Tarot, the Ace can suggest the beginning of a path or project or the smallest, single manifestation of an element--in this case, Diamond=Pentacle=Earth, things of or related to earthly, 3-D matter.
Our Ace looks a little lonely here, doesn't it? That was my first impression. So, within context, physical solitude or loneliness might be one reasonable interpretation.
A few other impressions came to mind, though:
- something/someone new being perfectly situated in its expansive environment, like a seed newly planted in fertile soil (or conception? hmmm...!)
- the single diamond of an engagement ring
- and, finally and whimsically, a small open space where four curved objects have come together; think four white balloons or dinner plates tightly arranged, and you'll see what I mean!
I'm still thinking pregnancy!
